The ETHM-A is a universal monitoring module that can operate autonomously, as part of an intruder alarm system, or in automation systems. The module enables data transmission via Ethernet. In alarm systems, this module can be used for monitoring, interfacing with any alarm control panel connected to the module via its dialer. The ETHM-A can also be connected to the control panel using appropriately configured control panel outputs connected to the module's inputs. The ETHM-A has eight inputs that can be programmed as NO, NC, or analog to work with devices equipped with NO or NC outputs, analog sensors, or digital-to-analog converters. Additionally, it is equipped with a 1-Wire digital sensor bus. This allows for the connection of up to eight detectors (e.g., temperature) with a maximum bus length of up to 30 m. This allows the module to collect and transmit various types of data via the IoT, such as current temperature, humidity, and more. The ETHM-A can also relay alarm system events (e.g., arming, alarm, and others) to the monitoring station. The ETHM-A has 4 transistor outputs (OC). They can be controlled remotely, for example, using the GX CONTROL mobile app, a computer with GX Soft software installed, or via IoT. The module also enables sending notifications via PUSH messages to mobile devices with the GX CONTROL app installed and via email. Programming and configuration are performed on a computer with GX Soft software installed. The module connects to the program locally (USB) or remotely (Ethernet). The ETHM-A firmware can be updated remotely thanks to its support for the UpServ software.
