Consumer Advice:
The LED lamp is designed for use in open lamps. The heat generated by the lamp during use can thus be dissipated into the surroundings. The lifespan forecast is based on this type of use. When used in enclosed lamps, the lack of cooling leads to a shorter lifespan. Only to be used in fixtures suitable for this purpose. Before replacing a lamp, it must be completely cooled down and the mains voltage must be switched off. Damaged lamps must be replaced immediately. No liability for improper use
With some dimmers, the lamp may malfunction (flickering, noises).
Simultaneous use of LED lamps and standard incandescent bulbs or of different types of LED lamps with a single dimmer cable is not possible. If noises are heard in dimmers that were not observed with incandescent bulbs: the dimmer is not suitable for LED lamps. Cord dimmers (dimmers integrated into the power cable) require a separate on/off switch, as they cannot always be adjusted all the way to 0.
Observe the minimum load of the dimmer; otherwise, it may not work or may not work correctly. Single dimmers usually require 60W to 400W.
With built-in dimmers, the base brightness must be set high enough; otherwise, the LED lamp may not turn on.
Always dim slowly and evenly, not in jerky or rapid motion.
Only incandescent bulb dimmers are permitted – no dimmers for transformers, etc.
Touch dimmers are usually not suitable. An incorrect dimmer can irreparably damage lamps.
