- The LED lamp is designed for use in open lamps. The heat generated by the lamp during use can thus be released into the environment
- The lifespan forecast is based on this type of use. The LED lamps can, of course, also be used in closed lamps, but the lack of cooling will lead to a shorter lifespan. The LED lamp may only be used in luminaires suitable for this purpose. Before replacing a lamp, it must be completely cooled down and the mains voltage must be switched off.
