The galvanic isolator/signal converter is used to isolate analog signals in the range of 0 to 10 V DC and 0 to 20 mA DC, or to convert signals from 0 to 10 V DC to 0 to 20 mA DC or vice versa. The input and output signals, as well as the supply voltage, are galvanically isolated from each other. The device can be connected to either a 0 to 10 V or a 0 to 20 mA input signal. Galvanic isolation function: With the PT-C12 230, the 0 to 10 V input signal is proportionally adjusted to the 0 to 10 V output signal. The PTi-C12 230 adjusts the 0 to 20 mA input signal proportionally to the 0 to 20 mA output signal. Signal conversion function with galvanic isolation: When converting a signal from 0 to 10 V to 0 to 20 mA or vice versa, the converted output signal can be readjusted using the integrated spindle trimmer. Additionally, a manual override with a HAND/AUTO switch and feedback contact is integrated. In the HAND position, the output signal (0 to 10 V or 0 to 20 mA) can be set using the front-mounted potentiometer. A constant output voltage of max. 10 V DC, 5 mA is available at the 10 V terminal. The integrated LED indicates its brightness, which depends on the amplitude of the output signal Ua. Connection via screw terminals.
