Description
The LG BP55EB40 is a Blu-Ray RW drive for desktop and laptop PCs. Its black tray-loading mechanism connects via USB 2.0 and eSATA. It writes CDs at 24×, DVD+R at 8× and rewrites CD-RW media at 16×, while reading CDs, CD-R and CD-RW at 24×. Average random access times are 200 ms for CD and DVD-ROM and 250 ms for BD-ROM, and it carries CE, UL, C-UL, TÜV, SEMKO, Laser Safety and EMC certifications.
