UT-4DR RS485-Ethernet Interface Description The UT-4DR interface enables communication with the RACS 4 access control system via a 10/100 BaseT Ethernet computer network. Additionally, the interface provides four lines that can be configured as inputs/outputs operated via a web browser or Telnet commands, allowing the interface to be used outside the RACS access control system as a remote I/O port controlled via a computer network. PURPOSE: The UT-4DR interface can be used to program a single PR series access controller or to operate a networked access control system consisting of multiple controllers connected to an RS485 communication bus. The UT-4DR interface ensures bidirectional data flow between access control devices and the PR Master management software. The RACS 4 access control system software has been adapted to work with the UT-4DR interface. During system configuration in the PR Master software, select the communication port (TCP/IP) and the interface type (UT-4DR). Based on this data, the program will automatically adjust the transmission timing parameters to ensure the effective functioning of the communication connection between the computer and the managed system.
