Then such a reflected beam, returning to its receiver, would deceive the system and suggest a free zone of gate movement.; Nice has solved this issue in an extremely interesting way: the beam sent by TX is reflected from a special type of mirror, which polarizes it in a certain plane. Thus, a polarized beam returns to the receiver, which is of course expected by the optical-electronic system of the receiver.; If the beam were reflected from the vehicle body, it would return unpolarized. In such a situation, the receiver, having detected irregularities, would not allow the gate to close or would trigger the retraction of the gate that had already started to close.; EPMOR photocells meet the requirements for a type D safety device according to EN12453 and, with the PHOTOTEST function enabled in the control unit, achieve safety class 2 in accordance with EN954-1.; EPMOR photocells are only available in the relay version. They are powered by 12/24 V AC/DC and the load capacity of the output relay contacts is 500 mA at 48 V.; The EPMOR photocell is designed for wall mounting with a mirror. The transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) modules are located inside one housing, while the infrared beam emitted by the transmitter is reflected by a special mirror located on the opposite side of the controlled zone. Such a solution eliminates the sometimes unpleasant need to bring power cables to the other side of the drive.
