The mattress is 10 cm thick, which in itself provides good insulation. It's reinforced with internal aluminum foil panels that reflect heat back toward the body and trap the cold from underneath. The construction with side walls makes the mattress comfortable and provides comfort comparable to sleeping in a bed. The nylon outer shells with a TPU finish do not absorb moisture and are more resistant to damage and abrasion. The double valve in the mattress makes it easy to inflate and deflate, preventing air from leaking back. A dedicated bag that fits the valve is included for quick inflation.
