The VC-513 is a high-precision DC current clamp that can also measure AC current. The special clamp head with optimized coil and Hall effect sensor for DC measurement ensures exceptionally high precision. It is ten times more accurate than conventional current clamps. Although the clamp can also measure AC current, it is particularly well-suited for measurements on battery storage systems, chargers, charging infrastructure, and backup battery systems. It allows for quick and easy measurement of AC currents up to 80A. Unlike multimeters, the circuit does not need to be interrupted during measurement. The Zero (DC) and Min/Max functions allow for series measurements on multiple charging systems during service or quality assurance. This enables very fast and precise measurements in clusters. If the clamp shows unusual Min/Max values after a cluster measurement, only that single cluster needs to be remeasured in detail. With alternating current, this is never a problem, but with direct current, setting the zero point (delta measurement) with simultaneous activation of min/max measurement is necessary. Multimeter functions: The device features current, voltage, frequency, temperature, capacitance, and resistance measurement functions with automatic range selection, as well as diode testing, true RMS, and an audible continuity tester. Additionally, the device is equipped with a non-contact voltage tester.
