The VC-515 is a high-precision DC current clamp meter that can also measure AC current. The special clamp head with optimized coil and Hall effect sensor for DC measurement ensures exceptionally high precision. It is ten times more accurate than conventional current clamps. Although the clamp meter can also measure AC current, it is particularly well-suited for measurements on battery storage systems, chargers and charging infrastructure, and backup battery systems. It allows for the simple and quick measurement of DC and AC currents up to 160A. Unlike multimeters, the circuit does not need to be interrupted during measurement. Perfectly suited for servicing machines in control cabinets and also for measuring high currents in automotive and truck electrical systems. Multimeter functions: The device features voltage, frequency, temperature, capacitance, and resistance measurement functions with automatic range selection, as well as diode testing and an audible continuity tester. High-contrast display with 6000 counts: Exceptionally easy-to-read display in all lighting conditions. This model is superior to conventional clamp meters, especially in dimly lit control cabinets.
