The APMD-250 wireless detector operates within the two-way ABAX 2 / ABAX wireless system. The device is certified for compliance with EN 50131 Grade 2 requirements. The APMD-250 uses two types of sensors for motion detection: infrared (PIR) and microwave (MW). The detector features a modern wide-angle lens. The lens can be replaced with a curtain lens (CT-CL) or long-range lens (LR-CL). The adjustable mirror also protects the detector's approach zone. The device employs advanced digital signal processing and dynamic compensation for changes in ambient temperature. The APMD-250 monitors the motion detection system and signals any irregularities. The detector is highly resistant to false alarms. Configuration and software updates for the APMD-250 are performed remotely. Radio communication within the ABAX 2 system is AES encrypted. The detector is powered by a CR123A 3V battery (included), whose status is continuously monitored. The device is characterized by low energy consumption. The available ECO option (ABAX 2 only) allows for up to four-fold extension of operating time without having to replace the battery. An LED indicator signals violations in test mode, simplifying the detector testing process. The device can be mounted on an adjustable ceiling or wall bracket. The detector has tamper protection against opening and removal from the surface.
