The CAN-CR100 is used for the galvanic isolation of two segments of a CAN/CAN-FD network. A key feature of this repeater is its ability to isolate a faulty segment from the rest of the network, allowing the remaining network to continue operating. Once the fault is resolved, the faulty segment is automatically reconnected to the network. Galvanic isolation is implemented for both the CAN/CAN-FD segments and the power supply.
