The Telkom-Telmor ASR IQ 5G UHF ECO Active-Passive UHF Antenna is a modern broadband antenna designed for receiving DVB-T/T2 digital television signals. The 5G PROTECTED version features extensive bandpass filtering that eliminates interfering out-of-band signals (5G, LTE 800 and 700, GSM 1800, etc.). These out-of-band signals (especially those from local modems) can cause overloading of preamplifiers and other active components. Using the ASR 5G PROTECTED antenna protects the DVB-T/T2 signal from the influence of these signals. IQ technology intelligently adjusts the received signal levels to optimize them for TV and DVB-T/T2 receivers. The antenna has high energy gain and a built-in ultra-low-noise preamplifier that can be powered from a wide voltage range of 5-24V. The low inherent noise level of the first amplification stage is crucial for achieving good signal quality (high signal-to-noise ratio). The 5G Protected version also has a built-in bypass. Failure to turn on the power supply to this antenna will cause it to operate as a passive antenna. The product is assembled. Preparing the antenna for installation requires only slightly unscrewing the side knobs and, after parting the reflector wings, tightening them again.
