These water-based Albrecht Dürer watercolor markers are the modern definition of watercoloring, a high-quality drawing instrument that supports both spontaneous sketching and watercolor painting. The water-based ink is always ready for use and works excellently in combination with water. Quality is one of Faber-Castell's key priorities, so this watercolor marker stands out due to its high pigmentation and high lightfastness. The colors follow the Faber-Castell color numbering system and can therefore be reliably combined with Faber-Castell pencils and Pitt artist pens. The major advantage of these markers is that the ink does not bleed through the paper, unlike with alcohol markers. The product performs best when using watercolor paper. The marker has two nibs: a brush tip and a fiber tip, offering the artist great flexibility in their personal drawing style. The brush tip is soft and flexible, and by changing the direction of the tip on the paper, you can vary line thickness endlessly. The fiber tip is ideally suited for somewhat more detailed work; the line thickness is 1-2mm depending on the drawing angle.
