Connected devices are displayed in the Nedis SmartLife app and can be used for automation – as if they were directly connected to the Wi-Fi network. Particularly convenient is the central control unit's Bluetooth connectivity, allowing for the seamless integration of devices such as LED lights, smart thermostats, and even key finders into your smart home. The smart gateway connects directly to a Wi-Fi network, eliminating the need for an Ethernet cable. Alternatively, Zigbee can be used as a protocol instead of Wi-Fi. The main advantage of Zigbee is its very low power consumption. With Zigbee, small wireless sensors can even operate for several years on a single battery.
