The compact and elegant cabinet, half the size of a standard hardware cabinet width, allows for the installation of one device in one space unit in a 10.5 server cabinet or the installation of two copies of this model side by side in a 19-inch cabinet. Installation in a hardware cabinet requires the use of the MBS310 series mounting adapters. Of course, the amplifier can also be placed on a shelf or on a countertop. Despite packing such high power into such a small package, the amplifier does not experience overheating problems. The SCP series, including the SCP224 and SCP230, uses unique solutions to ensure optimal active cooling and eliminates the need for additional heat dissipation mechanisms. The RJ45 rear panel allows the amplifier to be connected to a WP2xx series wall panel or volume control. As a result, it is an affordable Plug & Play solution and can be used, for example, to expand an existing installation or introduce completely new signal feed and control options for an audio system. Since the SCP series amplifiers are also equipped with a standby switch, they can switch to energy-saving mode after a specified period of inactivity, which is a rare feature among these amplifiers currently available on the market.
