ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket, making them highly resistant to mechanical stresses such as movement in a chain. The connectors are injection-molded with TPE, and the ingress protection rating is IP67. The super-flexible SF/UTP cable is composed of individual cores of 28 copper wires, with a diameter of AWG26. This design offers greater flexibility than a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. The twisted conductors are composed of thin, uninsulated wires twisted together; the more wires in a twisted conductor, the greater the cable's flexibility.
