The AC4451 Gigabit Ethernet media converter offers a flexible and powerful solution for quickly and easily transitioning from fiber-optic Gigabit Ethernet to copper (RJ45) Gigabit Ethernet and vice versa. The unmanaged media converter features an open SFP slot that can accommodate a single-mode or uncoded multimode SFP transmitter. Additionally, the Ethernet media converter features Link Fault Passthrough (LFP) for connection error detection. Different operating modes can be set using integrated DIP switches.
