ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket, making them highly resistant to mechanical stresses such as movement in a chain. The connectors are injection-molded with TPE, and the ingress protection rating is IP67. The Superflex Xtreme cable features single conductors composed of 19 copper strands, resulting in a diameter of AWG22. This design makes the cable more flexible than a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. Twisted conductors consist of thin, uninsulated wires twisted together. The more strands in a twisted conductor, the greater the cable's flexibility.
