ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket, making them highly resistant to mechanical stresses such as movement in a chain. The connectors are injection-molded with TPE and have an IP67 rating. The Superflex Xtreme cable features individual conductors composed of 19 copper strands, resulting in a cable diameter of AWG22. This design improves the cable's flexibility compared to a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. Stranded conductors consist of thin, uninsulated copper wires twisted together. The more stranded conductors there are, the greater the cable's flexibility.
