This Delock enclosure allows the installation of an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD or an M.2 SATA SSD in the 2280, 2260, 2242, and 2230 form factors. It can be connected to a PC or notebook via USB. The robust metal enclosure with cooling fins ensures optimal storage temperature. Combo Enclosure: The major advantage of this Delock M.2 enclosure is that both SATA and PCIe (NVMe) M.2 SSDs can be used. The storage device is automatically recognized by the chipset and can then be used. Tool-Free SSD Installation: The special feature of this enclosure is that no tools are required to install the M.2 SSD. The inner part can be pulled out with the push of a button, the SSD is inserted into the slot, and secured to the circuit board with a rubber grommet.
