ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket, making them highly resistant to mechanical stresses such as movement in a chain. The connectors are injection-molded TPE, and the ingress protection rating is IP67. The super-flexible SF/UTP cable features individual conductors composed of 28 copper strands, with a diameter of AWG26. This design makes the cable more flexible than a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. Stranded conductors consist of thin, uninsulated copper wires twisted together; the more stranded conductors there are, the more flexible the wire.
