The 3M MDT-A 120/40 heat shrink tubing is supplied as a 1-meter bar offering a 3:1 reduction ratio from an initial diameter of 120 mm down to 40 mm. This tubing provides electrical insulation and strain relief for wire splices and cable assemblies. Under heat, it shrinks uniformly to conform tightly around conductors, preventing moisture ingress and mechanical stress.
