This compact fiber tester is an excellent tool for everyday fiber optic applications in the field, industrial environments, and laboratories. It is suitable for testing single-mode and multimode fiber optic cables using invertible laser light, identifying defective fiber optic components, and connecting fibers. The range is approximately 10 km with an output power of 10 mW. It is compatible with 2.5 mm ferrules, including DIN, E2000, FC, SC, and ST, and includes a 1.25 mm ferrule adapter for LC and others. A dust cap, nylon case, and instructions are included. Batteries (AA 1.5V) are not included. A spare ceramic sleeve for the laser is located under the 2.5 mm exit and can be screwed on.
