ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket, making them highly resistant to mechanical stresses such as movement in a chain. The connectors are injection-molded TPE, and the ingress protection rating is IP67. The Superflex Xtreme cable features individual cores composed of 19 copper wires, resulting in a diameter of AWG22. This design makes the cable more flexible than a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. Twisted cores consist of thin, uninsulated wires twisted together. The more wires in a twisted core, the more flexible the wire.
