The GMC Hummer EV is an electric vehicle from the American automaker GMC. The pickup version of the Hummer EV has been produced in Detroit, USA, since the end of 2021. The original Hummer has three electric motors (one at the front, two at the rear) that together generate 746 kW (1014 hp). Its most distinctive feature, however, is the Crab Walk, which allows the Hummer to move like a crab. With the so-called "Crab Walk," the Hummer frees itself from tricky situations at the touch of a button, moving diagonally in a manner similar to how a crab moves. A slight turn of the steering wheel causes the Hummer to slide sideways. This is made possible by the rear-wheel steering, which can turn up to ten degrees.
