The UTS 1000 universal temperature switch detects the current ambient temperature and automatically switches a connected 230 V AC device on and off when the temperature reaches preset values. The universal temperature switch uses widely available PT1000 sensors for temperature measurement. Various PT1000 sensors can be used with the universal temperature switch via an included PT1000 adapter. The universal temperature switch can be used wherever heating or cooling needs to be controlled, e.g., in central heating systems, air conditioners, incubators, greenhouses, hobby rooms, outdoor saunas, terrariums, and as a replacement for defective mechanical thermostats.
