ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket, making them highly resistant to mechanical stresses such as movement in a chain. The connectors are molded TPE, and the ingress protection rating is IP67. The Ultraflex cable features individual cores composed of 41 copper strands, resulting in a diameter of AWG24. This design makes the cable more flexible than a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. The twisted conductors consist of thin strands of uninsulated wire twisted together. The more strands in a twisted conductor, the greater the flexibility of the wire.
