The gyro neutralizes almost all external influences such as wind – even control errors are corrected when the control sticks are simply returned to the neutral position. An attitude sensor simultaneously prevents stalling in gyro mode (maximum climb and descent rate approx. 15-20°). As a 3-channel model, the Piper J-3 CUP is controlled only via the motor, elevator, and rudder. The entire structure is made of virtually indestructible EPP material. Harder landings or minor crashes are therefore easily absorbed, ensuring long-lasting flying enjoyment. The propeller, made of impact-resistant plastic, was specially developed for this model. Its durability and efficiency are outstanding.
