Early detection of moisture in building materials: Building elements made of wood and stone are particularly susceptible to mold growth if moisture levels are too high. The Voltcraft MF-80 moisture meter allows for non-destructive measurement of material moisture up to a depth of 40 mm. The CM method (calcium carbide method) used is a recognized state-of-the-art technology and the only legally approved measurement method in Germany. Targeted functions for practical application: During measurement, minimum and maximum values are recorded, and if the display is not visible during the measurement, the hold function allows for subsequent reading. An adjustable audible alarm alerts the user to extreme values. Furthermore, the device warns of low battery power and switches off automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity to save energy. To ensure immediate usability, the package includes the Voltcraft MF-80 with instruction manual and three AAA batteries.
