ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket, making them highly resistant to mechanical stresses such as movement in a chain. The connectors are molded TPE, and the ingress protection rating is IP67. The Superflex SF/UTP cable features individual cores composed of 28 copper wires, which together form a diameter of AWG26. This design makes the cable more flexible than a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. Stranded conductors are composed of thin, uninsulated copper wires twisted together. The more stranded conductors there are, the more flexible the wire.
