ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) sheath and are therefore highly resistant to mechanical stresses such as movement in a chain. The connectors are molded TPE, and the ingress protection rating is IP67. The Ultraflex cable features individual cores composed of 41 copper wires, which together form a diameter of AWG24. This design makes the cable more flexible than a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. Twisted cores consist of thin, uninsulated wires twisted together. The more wires in a twisted core, the greater the flexibility of the wire.
