The VC 292 can measure currents up to 60 A directly with the included clamp adapter and, like all devices in the VC-200 series, is optimized for training. Measuring High Currents: The included CLA-60 current clamp adapter is suitable for non-contact measurement of alternating currents up to 60 A. In 3-phase circuits, the phase distribution can be determined quickly and reliably. The circuit does not need to be disconnected during measurement. In the current clamp setting, the VOLTCRAFT VC-292 displays the exact measured value in amperes, as the clamp and the multimeter are perfectly matched. Razor-Sharp Display: Impressively clear EBTN display in both bright and dark environments. With a 7.9 cm (3.1 inch) display diagonal, all digits and symbols are displayed significantly larger, thus preventing reading errors. Measuring socket monitoring: Depending on the selected measurement quantity, the correct connection of the measuring sockets is shown on the display. This is a great help for beginners and students to avoid incorrect operation. If an incorrect connection is made despite the display, a warning tone sounds.
