ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket, making them highly resistant to mechanical stresses such as movement in a chain. The connectors are injection-molded with TPE and have an IP67 rating. The super-flexible SF/UTP cable has individual cores composed of 28 copper wires, resulting in a diameter of AWG26. This design offers greater flexibility than a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. Stranded conductors consist of thin, uninsulated wires twisted together; the more stranded conductors there are, the more flexible the wire.
