ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket, making them highly resistant to mechanical stresses, such as movement in a chain. The connectors are molded with TPE, and the ingress protection rating is IP67. The ultraflex cable features individual conductors composed of 41 copper strands, which together form a diameter of AWG24. This design makes the cable more flexible than a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. The twisted conductors are composed of thin, uninsulated strands of wire twisted together. The more strands in a twisted conductor, the greater the flexibility of the wire.
