The ALL-MC116SV-VDSL2 is a cost-effective, unmanaged VDSL2 bridge modem. It utilizes the G.993.2 VDSL2 standard technology for data transmission over a single copper wire pair. The ALL-MC116SV-VDSL2 was specifically designed to support vectoring for telecom and ISP applications, as well as hospitality solutions for operation on DSLAMs. The modem is therefore compatible with standard VDSL2 connections up to 100 Mbps. The modem has two 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet ports and an additional 1000Base-X SFP slot. This extender offers a flexible solution for expanding your LAN network and is perfect for use in buildings, hotels, hospitals, or other locations beyond the range of 10/100/1000Base-T (Ethernet) or fiber optic connections. The vectoring technology, in particular, distinguishes the ALL-MC116SV-VDSL2 from its counterparts, as it is designed for a vectoring connection to a DSLAM, regardless of whether it is used for an ISP or an in-house DSLAM. It is important to note that this is an unmanaged device. With an unmanaged bridge modem, you have NO way to monitor bandwidth or set VLAN tags, etc.
