This Modbus module with eight individually configurable resistance or voltage inputs was developed for decentralized switching applications. It is suitable for acquiring resistances and voltages from, for example, passive and active temperature sensors, electric ventilation and mixing dampers, valve positions, etc. The inputs can be universally configured via standard registers using a Modbus master. The module's addressing, bit rate, and parity settings are configured via two address switches on the front panel or via software. It is suitable for decentralized mounting on a TH35 DIN rail according to IEC 60715 in electrical distribution boards. Connection is via spring-loaded push-in terminals.
