To adapt different cabling within a LAN, fiber optic converters can be used to create a functional network. Whether converting fiber optics to a traditional twisted pair network with a Mini-GBIC or converting fiber optics to another fiber optic network with two Mini-GBICs, the ROLINE Gigabit Converter offers both options. The ROLINE Gigabit Converter converts a Gigabit Ethernet TP port to fiber optics or a fiber optic port to another fiber optic port. Fiber optic connections can be freely selected using Mini-GBIC modules. Mini-GBIC modules are available for SX/LC and LX/LC (10 km and 20 km). Connections: RJ-45 on the TP side / 2 x Mini-GBIC slots on the fiber optic side. Power is supplied via the supplied external power supply. Dimensions: 102 x 74 x 23 mm.
