The Flying Bulls' EC-135 was built in 2006 and bears the registration OE-XFB. The helicopter is approximately ten meters long and powered by two Turbomeca turbines with a combined output of 2 x 643 hp. Its top speed is approximately 290 km/h, with a service ceiling of 6,100 meters. The EC-135 is certified to carry up to six people (one pilot and five passengers). Our EC-135 is a licensed super-scale replica in 1:32 scale with the original Flying Bulls livery. The model is therefore indistinguishable from the real thing; even the individual rivets of the cabin, which is made of solid plastic, are depicted. This helicopter features LED lighting at the front, bottom, and rear, which not only complements its striking appearance and enables flying at dusk, but also provides information about the current flight status and the battery voltage: If the LED starts flashing and turns red, for example, the voltage is too low. This immediately alerts the pilot that it's best to return to the charging station. A particularly clever feature of the battery is its integrated USB charging port, which simply connects to the included USB cable. Flight time on a full battery is approximately 8-10 minutes. Thanks to high-quality electronics, including auto-start and auto-landing, the helicopter's flight characteristics are docile, making it suitable for beginners despite its multi-blade rotor head. The comfortable, high-quality 2.4GHz transmitter is also included.
