The new current-carrying close coupling head is specifically designed for newly constructed vehicles with a prototypical lower buffer beam and thus a reduced buffer height above the railhead (according to NEM 303), to ensure the necessary swing-out of the close coupling system below the buffer plates. Contents: 10 current-carrying close coupling heads. For use in vehicles with standard coupler pockets (NEM 362) and close-coupling mechanisms, as well as in vehicles with a lower buffer height according to NEM 303.
