It is therefore ideal for components that must withstand high temperatures and mechanical stress, far exceeding the limits of standard PLA. Glass fiber reinforced: The inclusion of glass fibers gives this filament increased stiffness, high impact resistance, and minimal warping. The material reaches a modulus of elasticity of up to 4200 MPa, offering excellent stiffness and consistent mechanical behavior in both the XY and Z directions. Precision and stability: Thanks to its low shrinkage values—only 0.05% in the XY and Z directions—Polymaker™ HT-PLA-GF ensures precise and reliable results for precision parts. This dimensional stability makes it an excellent choice for printing functional devices and prototypes. Seamless Printing Experience: The filament is designed to run smoothly at standard PLA settings and requires a nozzle temperature of 210-230°C and a bed temperature of 25-60°C. It is compatible with most 3D printers and, due to its abrasive nature, works best with a hardened nozzle.
