Description
The Hewlett Packard Enterprise LTO-7 Ultrium magnetic tape cartridge provides 15 TB native storage capacity and supports RW (read/write) operations. The tape measures 1.27 cm in width and extends 960 meters in length with a thickness of 5.6 µm, delivering up to 700 MB/s transfer rates and a 30-year archival life. It features WORM capability from LTO-3 and AES-256 hardware encryption from LTO-4 onward to secure and protect data against unauthorized access. HPE’s LTO-7 format is designed for enterprise backup and long-term archival in 24/7 data center environments.
