The Makita DCE 090 ZX1 is a 36 V (2×18 V) brushless cordless straight grinder engineered for heavy-duty metal cutting applications using 230 mm discs. Its high-torque brushless motor provides a no-load speed of 6,600 rpm and supports a maximum cutting capacity of 88 mm with a 22.23 mm arbor. Integrated water-cooling channels protect the housing, while Active Feedback sensing Technology stops the tool if a disc binds. Xtreme Protection Technology shields internal electronics from dust and water splashes, and a soft-start function ensures smooth startups. The package includes a 230 mm INOX cutting disc, Allen key, socket wrench, and an auxiliary handle; batteries and charger are sold separately.
