Testoterm measuring points are self-adhesive, temperature-sensitive films that change color to reflect specific temperature exceedances. They are ideal for monitoring the temperature of products and processes where a specific temperature must not be exceeded. The measuring points are supplied in a booklet containing 50 pieces. They can be easily peeled from the booklet like stickers and applied to the object being measured. As soon as the specified temperature point (+77 °C) is exceeded, the measuring point changes color within 2 to 3 seconds. The color change is irreversible: once the temperature has been exceeded, the measuring point will not change color, even if the temperature drops again. This allows a critical temperature exceedance to be detected even after a considerable period of time.
