The NH-L12Sx77 is a slightly taller version of the award-winning NH-L12S, offering improved cooling performance and expanded motherboard and RAM compatibility. Featuring six heat pipes instead of four, it provides additional thermal headroom and is still configured by default with the fan blowing air from bottom to top through the cooling fins. This not only ensures optimal acoustics in cases with perforated side or top panels directly above the cooler but also helps to exhaust warm air from the system. The increased height significantly improves clearance for tall motherboard heatsinks or RAM modules. At 77 mm tall, the NH-L12Sx77 remains compact enough to fit in popular small form factor (SFF/SFX) cases such as the Fractal Design Terra, Silverstone Milo ML12, or Louqe Raw S1. Equipped with the proven SecuFirm2 mounting system and Noctua's award-winning NT-H2 thermal compound, the NH-L12Sx77 is the perfect choice for SFF builds that require high cooling performance but do not have enough space for the larger cooler models NH-C14S or NH-D9L.
