Part of the 12v CXT cordless platform, the PV301D is a compact sander and polisher which can run on any Makita 12v CXT battery. It has a brushless motor and two speed settings, with variable speed control and a lock on switch. The tool is restart protected so it won't start up unexpectedly if the switch is left in the "on" position while changing over a battery.
