Multiswitch MRP-908 9 in / 8 out Signal afbeelding 1
Signal MRP-908 Multiswitch with passive terrestrial TV path, 9 inputs, 8 outputs. 18V 1A DC power supply included. Distinguishing features: radial multiswitch; inputs: 8 from two quatro LNBs, 1 terrestrial FM/DVB-T; outputs: 8 to SAT tuners; passive FM/DVB-T path equipped with a 12V DC On/Off switch; isolation between inputs greater than 25 dB; high output separation of 30 dB (no crosstalk between bands and polarizations); cable characteristics correction; very high input level 105 dB V; high output level: 100 dB V; power supply and multiswitch voltage indicators (simple diagnostics of power failure or short circuit in the terrestrial path); grounding connection; compact dimensions 220 x 120 x 42 mm; External DC 18 V 1 A power supply; 3-year warranty. ; The new family of Signal multiswitches enables the implementation of RTV/SAT installations in single-family homes and small residential and office buildings. The multiswitches are designed for indoor use. Multi-band switches are dedicated to star-topology installations. In this type of system, cables from the end sockets converge at the multiswitch or multiswitch group installation location. High output separation (no crosstalk between bands and polarizations) and built-in cable pre-correction eliminate the effect of cable attenuation, which increases with frequency. The switch is equipped with a passive terrestrial television path, therefore the use of an antenna preamplifier or amplifier is recommended to compensate for the attenuation of the multiswitch (14 dB) and the passive components in the installation (cable, sockets, connectors) in the terrestrial television path. When selecting an amplifier, you should also consider the transmitter's signal level (transmitter power and mounting height, distance to the reception point, antenna gain, and terrain between the transmitter and receiver). The multiswitch is equipped with a 12V switch in the antenna path. To power the amplifier, set it to the "On" position. If you are using an amplifier with its own power supply, such as the CA-215 (with gain control), leave the switch in the "Off" position. The multiswitch and power supply are equipped with power status LEDs. Both should be lit when operating correctly. If the LEDs on the power supply and multiswitch flash after connecting the terrestrial antenna and turning on the power, this indicates a short circuit in the terrestrial antenna path. This may be caused by connecting the power supply in the terrestrial path with the antenna unamplified or by poor connection wiring (a short circuit between the central conductor and the cable's braided shield). Turn off the power immediately and correct the problem. Using a separate amplifier has the following advantages: installation cost optimization; selection of the most suitable amplifier (gain level, installation location, separate VHF and UHF adjustment); powering the amplifier from the multiswitch (no separate power supply required).; The device distributes signals from two satellite positions as well as terrestrial television and FM radio to a maximum of eight sockets. We can therefore connect up to eight single-tuner satellite tuners. If the tuner has a hard drive (PVR), two multiswitch outputs should be reserved for its needs. Unused multiswitch outputs should be terminated with a 75 Ohm resistor. We always use a QUATTRO type LNB for multiswitches. Technical data: Inputs . 8 x SAT; 1 x FM/DVB-T; Outputs : 8.
