The xCOAX4-SET is a set of active converters for transmitting data from an Ethernet network and powering it with PoE over a standard coaxial cable used in analog surveillance. These devices enable the installation of PoE IP cameras in locations where replacing existing coaxial cabling is impossible or uneconomical. The xCOAX4-SW module is powered from any PoE switch (RJ45 port) via coaxial cable, enabling bidirectional network communication and powering the xCOAX4-CAM module. An IP camera or any network device can be connected to the RJ45 port of the xCOAX4-CAM module at the end of the line. The devices can optionally be powered using POWER screw connectors. To properly power PoE receivers, the voltage must be higher than 44V DC. The maximum distance for data transmission and PoE power depends on the length and cross-section of the cables used and the quality of the BNC connectors. The presence of other cables in the cable route and additional intermediate connections have a significant impact on transmission stability. The maximum coaxial cable length is 1000m. In the case of low cable quality, the transmission speed may be reduced to 10Mbps, which will be signaled by a LED on the housing. Key features and functions: Transmission range via coaxial cable up to 1000m at 10/100Mbps; interference immunity and watchdog function in the COAX path; can be powered from a PoE 802.3at/af or PoE PASSIVE switch (xCOAX4-SW) and via screw connectors with a voltage of 10-58VDC; can power PoE 802.3at/af or PoE PASSIVE receivers up to 90W (using all 4 twisted-pair pairs for power); very low power consumption - 1.35W for the entire path; small module size; clear, optical indication of power and data transmission status; quick and easy commissioning without the need to configure parameters; The kit includes: xCOAX4-SW. xCOAX4-CAM. After power is applied and the cables are properly connected, the devices will communicate at 100Mbps. If a stable connection cannot be established, the transmission speed will be reduced to 10Mbps. This will be indicated by the LED lighting up. If a connection cannot be established, verify the quality of the BNC connectors at the ends of the XCOAX line. Additional connections and branches in the XCOAX line may prevent stable transmission. Verify their correctness and remove any unnecessary ones. The LV LED latches and indicates that the voltage at the XCOAX-CAM receiver has dropped below 44V DC. It can be reset by removing and reconnecting the power supply. Its lighting up indicates the need to verify the correct power supply to the set. A voltage drop below 44V DC may cause unstable operation or prevent PoE receivers connected to the XCOAX-CAM from starting after a restart. The device's very small size allows for easy installation in small spaces, such as in a camera base or junction box. The most convenient mounting method is using dedicated ABOX enclosures and mounting plates, which feature a 10.8mm grid of system holes. This system allows for vertical or horizontal mounting of selected devices in any pre-punched part of the enclosure or mounting plate. Using an additional adapter, the device can be mounted on a TH-35 rail. The enclosure can be mounted in several ways: "traditionally," using mounting pins on a 10.8mm grid, as found in all ABOX enclosures; by screwing through additional holes to any flat surface; using the ADD-RACK2U1 or ADD-RACK2U2 mounting plate; or using additional latches on a TH35 (DIN) ADD-TH35 rail.
