The VOLTCRAFT VC-541 current clamp enables the safe and efficient detection of leakage currents from 100 A AC. During differential current measurement (which is essentially the same principle as a residual current device/RCD), all live conductors of a circuit are enclosed by the clamp. Ideally, the clamp should not display a reading when no leakage current is actually flowing. The 3.5-digit LCD display with 1999 counts and black LED backlighting ensures clear and easy readability of the measurement results. The data hold function freezes the measured values if the display cannot be read during the measurement process.
