Detecting F-gases and refrigerants in indoor air: Gas leaks can lead to health hazards or even life-threatening contamination of the air we breathe. Refrigerants – especially F-gases – also contribute significantly to climate change and should not be released into the environment. The Voltcraft GD-230 gas leak detector reliably detects these substances and immediately provides both visual and audible alarms. The flexible probe can be easily guided through narrow passages such as narrow pipes or paneling to specifically check hard-to-reach areas. High sensitivity and clear warning signal: After a warm-up time of just three seconds, the Voltcraft gas leak detector detects refrigerants and F-gases in indoor air at concentrations as low as 3 g/a (three grams per square meter per second). Both sensitivity and alarm intensity are adjustable in six levels: firstly, regarding volume, and secondly, according to gas concentration, which is indicated by yellow, orange, and red lights. Additional features: The Voltcraft GD-230 gas leak detector boasts simple, clear operation: A battery status indicator shows the battery's charge level, and to save energy, the device automatically switches off and resets after 15 minutes of inactivity.
